LoRaWAN

Background

There are several LoRaWAN device vendors offering well-functioning sensors and actuators on the market, but not all of them support Lynx yet. Vendors typically create their own encoding of the data since this is not standardized within the LoRa WAN specifications. This means that IoT Open or a partner need to build a decoder when a new brand shall be onboarded.

Each vendor generally uses a consistent style for encode data so "all" or "many" of their devices are likely to be supported by the same vendor specific decoder.

Below are a list of LoRaWAN device vendors that currently support Lynx, along with examples of their devices known to be used by IoT Open customers.
